HWCG is proud to announce that its Member, BOE Exploration and Production, LLC (Beacon), has successfully mobilized, deployed, tested, and recovered HWCG’s Ram Capping Stack at one of Beacon’s Green Canyon leases. The capping stack was deployed and landed on a test stump in ~5,600-ft of water, then pressure tested according to procedures approved by Beacon and BSEE. Beacon’s team was able to safely achieve a response time (initial notice – on bottom pressure test) of 3.6-days. HWCG was able to confirm the operability and integrity of numerous upgrades as well as its ability to transmit real-time pressure and temperature from multiple sources which is critical to establish acceptance within soft shut-in criteria.
