HWCG is proud to announce that we have successfully completed our three-day Offset Winch Landing (OWL) System demonstration on our 15K Ram Capping Stack!

From March 19-21, our team conducted comprehensive onshore trials simulating offshore installation of the system that achieved the following strategic objectives:

- Knowledge Transfer: Successfully educated HWCG Members, BSEE regulators, and Response Providers on the innovative design principles and operational capabilities of the OWL System.

- System Integration Validation: Demonstrated seamless interfaces between all critical components - from ROV operations and positioning systems to winch operations, subsea approach angles, and the crucial connections between Upper and Lower Frames.

- Operational Benchmarking: Established definitive mobilization timing baselines that enhance our emergency response planning.

- Procedure Refinement: Gathered expert insights to finalize and optimize HWCG and Delmar's Mobilization and Deployment Procedures.

- Training Enhancement: Captured high-quality video footage for future training programs to ensure consistent operational excellence

Beyond achieving these planned objectives, HWCG and its members gained valuable peer perspective that will further refine this critical emergency response capability. This successful demonstration represents a significant advancement in our collective preparedness for subsea intervention scenarios.
