HWCG will collaborate with over 200 well control experts on May 9-10 during its annual source control drill in Houston, TX. Stone Energy Corporation, an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company, will serve as the host for this year’s exercise. During this large-scale source control drill, Stone Energy will work to resolve a simulated well blowout scenario. HWCG’s Mutual Aid team, which includes experts from all sixteen member companies as well as vendors and response partners, will assist Stone in containing the blowout.
